Based on a recent article in Forbes, "Entrepreneurship is the New Women's Movement", women are moving out of the kitchen, and out of corporate life, to set up their own flexible businesses many even from the comfort of home.

If you decide to take part in this new movement, then here are a few common things you'll share with other women entrepreneurs.

You'll create a small business with fewer than 5 employees coach crossbody bags. Women tend to start smaller businesses, and either operate them all themselves, or bring on just a few employees. WIth today's technology, you can be small, smart, and strong. Micro in size doesn't mean it has to be micro in revenue!

You'll probably start up as a homebased business. In college, I dreamed of working from home someday. I wrote a paper called, "The Virtual Office," and I described how someday in the future, people wouldn't have to meet in buildings to conduct their business. This seemed hard to believe in 1996, when most of us didn't even have email yet coach crossbody bags online hot sale. Now it's a norm as I conduct a nationwide business from my kitchen, my home office, or anywhere. Sometimes it's hard to unplug, but the pros totally outweigh the cons for me and many other mamapreneurs that I coach!

You'll be part of a huge growing trend. Women have been starting our own businesses at a higher rate than men for the past 20 years. We are a huge jobcreating force: It's expected that we will create over half of the 9.72 million new small business jobs by 2018. We have power to reshape America and trigger huge economic gains.
